Jermain Taylor vs. Carl Froch Betting Odds

Live on Showtime, Saturday April 25, 2009 at the MGM Grand Theatre in Mashantucket, CT.  Jermain Taylor (28-2-1) will take on Carl Froch (24-0) for Froch’s WBC super middleweight title.  British fans wil be rooting on their only reigning champion Carl “The Cobra” Froch and the U.S will be pulling for their former middleweight champion Jermain “Bad Intentions” Taylor.

This will be Froch’s biggest fight to date and away from his territory. Froch will look and needs a big win if he is to get his name known in the States. In his last fight he took out Jean Pascal a very tough Canadian fighter handing him his first loss via unanimous decision and winning  the WBC super middleweight title.

Taylor is coming off a unanimous decision victory over Jeff “Left Hook” Lacy back in November of 2008. While losing his his last two fights prior to the former champ Kally Pavlik. Taylor has faced much tougher competition than Froch, actually it doesn’t even compare. Froch is coming in very confident and cocky which may or may not play into his favor. Expect to see Froch lay it on all the line and Taylor has vowed to show the old Taylor with a big win.
