Marcos Galvao vs. Damacio Page
The opening bout of the evening pits Nova Uniao’s resident decision machine, Marcos Galvao, against dangerous Jackson Submission Fighting prospect Damacio Page.
Both men are coming off losses to Brian Bowles, and with Galvao going 0-1-1 so far in WEC, it is important for his future that he takes the win in this one. Unfortunately for Galvao, who has yet to finish an opponent in his entire MMA career, Page is a very dynamic fighter from an extremely good camp who is a threat to finish both standing and on the ground. Plus, Page survived a television taping and a long bus ride with the Tapout crew, so after that harrowing experience he is ready for any hardship.
