UFC 219 Predictions – Khabib Nurmagomedov Vs. Edson Barboza

Nurmagomedov is almost an unknown entity who has been on the downlow since 2014. In fact, most fans may have come across the name, but they do not have a face to put to it. The question everyone asks when it comes to Khabib Nurmagomedov is – who is he?
Well, Nurmagomedov is someone who fights in the lightweight division and has been rather inactive in recent years. However, if you look at his record from 2012 until 2014, the numbers are very impressive indeed. He was nearly invincible with a record of 24 – 0. Sadly, Nurmagomedov has had issues with his weight fluctuating rather significantly and has been ill on several occasions which is why he has been inactive. However, things have not been the same since his absence. Not only is the weight division different, but the competition now is way stiffer than it used to be back during Nurmagomedov’s days.
On the other end of the octagon will be Edson Barboza who is the underdog in this fight by a long mile. While has been written off by most and may probably only serve as a good stepping stone for Nurmagomedov, we still know he is capable of causing an upset.
