UFC Fight Night 26: Chael Sonnen vs. Mauricio Rua Odds

On Saturday, August 17, 2013, UFC Fight Night 26 will hit the airwaves live from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. In the main event of the evening, former Light Heavyweight champion Mauricio “Shogun” Rua will look to get back into the win column against brash wrestler Chael Sonnen. Sonnen is known primarily for his pro wrestling-style trash talk routine, but he backs up the talk with a punishing takedown and ground control game. If Shogun wants to avoid the first back-to-back losses of his career, he is going to have to find a way to keep this fight standing, where he will have his way with Sonnen.

In the semi-main event, former Strikeforce and K-1 World Grand Prix champion Alistair Overeem will square off against Travis “Hapa” Browne in a matchup of huge, powerful Heavyweights. Both of these guys have physical strength and punching power in excess, so this has all the makings of a brutal, physical encounter. Rounding out the card are a Bantamweight bout pitting “The California Kid” Urijah Faber against Iuri Alcantara and a Welterweight showdown between Mike Pyle and tough guy Matt “The Immortal” Brown.
