Current Fight Night 22 Odds. Live on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas will host UFC Fight Night 22. The Main Event brings us former UFC middleweight contender Nate “The Great” Marquardt (30-8-2) taking on submission specialist Rousimar “Toquinho” Palhares (11-2). Nate is coming off a unanimous decision loss to number one contender Chael Sonnen, where he was completely dominated and couldn’t seem to get off his back. On the other hand Palhares is on a three fight win streak. But is coming back from a 90 day suspension due to the fact he held on to a heel hook too long in his last outing against Tomasz Drwal. These two were scheduled to meet at UFC 118, but since Alan Belcher was forced to withdraw form the main event with Demian Maia. These two will now headline the event. Marquardt has very good submission defense but Palhares is a game opponent and should make for a good main event.
