BJ will need to step his game up if he wants his belt back. The first fight was a a back and forth battle with Edgar getting the better of the exchanges taking a unanimous decision win with a scorecard of (50-45, 49-46, 48-47). The Co-Main event is between UFC Hall of Famer and Five time UFC champion Randy “The Natural” Couture (18-10) up against Boxing great James “Lights Out” Toney, boxing record (72-6-3-2) MMA (0-0). This will mark the first time a legit boxer has entered the Octagon except the fact he is well past his prime. I’m excited to see if Randy will stand and band or go straight for the take-down. Lets hope Toney is working on his sprawl. Boston native Kenny Florian (14-4) will go up against undefeated “The Bully” Gray Maynard (9-0-1). Kenny will have his hometown support behind him and look to get one step closer to another title shot.
