Live on Saturday, June 26, 2010 the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California will host Strikeforce “Fedor vs. Werdum”. Fedor Emelianenko (32-1-1) returns to combat when he meets jiu jitsu black belt Fabricio Werdum (13-4-1) for the WAMMA Heavyweight Title. Fedor is coming off a TKO win over Brett Rogers. Fedor needed two rounds to finish Rogers, last bout he saw round two was back in 2006 at Pride 32 against Mark Coleman. Werdum is currently on a two fight win streak since is departure from the UFC. Most recently he beat Antonio Silva via unanimous decision back in November 2009.

Also rumored but not officially signed will be the rematch between Cung le (6-1) vs. Scott Smith (17-6-0-1). The two met back in December of 2009, where Le was having his way with Smith, then mid third round got caught by Smith and ended up losing via KO.
