Machida is a very tactical fighter and almost ghost like moving object that can get in and out somehow without taking much punishment. Silva an extremely well rounded and powerful puncher will most likely have to chase down Machida. The question is will he be able to catch Machida and make him exchange with him? Machida takes alot of heat for his style, but it works for him. I see Machida once again avoiding Silva’s power and doing enough for a unanimous decision victory.

Stephan Bonnar vs. Jon Jones

Pats Prediction

Jon Jones thus-far is undefeated in his MMA career and 1-0 in the UFC. He will by far be facing his toughest fight to date in Stephan Bonnar. I think this fight will come down to experience where Bonnar has much more. Jones will probably look to strike with Bonnar, but will eventually be overwhelmed. The American Psycho via second round TKO.

Nate Diaz vs. Clay Guida

This will be a very interesting and entertaining fight that could possible be fight of the night runner up material. Nate Diaz who’s stand up is very questionable will need to get Guida down on the mat. Guida while not a strong striker himself, though I will give him the advantage in that department. Guida does however have very sold wrestling that will make Diaz work that much harder to secure a take down. Diaz will take some punishment, but will find a way to get Guida down and work out one of his submissions in the middle of round three.

Karo Parisyan vs. Dong Hyun Kim

The Heat will have his hands full against the undefeated Korean fighter Dong Hyun Kim. Karo hasn’t fought since early last year when he was TKO’d by Thiago Alves will look to get his name back in the mix. A win over The Stun Gun will be a step in the right direction. Hyun Kim is 2-0 in the UFC with wins over Jason Day and Matt Brown. I believe Karo’s experience and skill set will be the difference in this fight as he will pull out a unanimous decision victory.
