Duane Ludwig vs. Sam Morgan
Former UFC alum Duane “Bang” Ludwig (16-8) will square off with Sam Morgan, a former cast member on TUF 2 show. This will be a rematch from Ring of Fire 16 back in 2005, which Morgan won via knock out.
Both fighters have faced tough competition in their careers and like to bang. Ludwig has lost two of his last three fights and is hungry for a big win. Morgan has not fought since his TKO loss to Paul Daley back in January. Ludwig is a very tough kick boxer with pretty good hands and a decent ground game. Morgan I see them both wanting to stand and trade shots, seeing that Morgan got the best of it in their last fight, he will be confident. Ludwig is the better striker and he will show it the second time around. Ludwig with knock out Morgan late in the first round. Ludwig (-525) /Morgan (+325)
Frank Trigg vs. Falinko Vitale
Another UFC veteran Frank “Twinkle Toes” Trigg (17-6) will take on experinced Hawaiian vet Falinko “Niko” Vitale (26-8).
Trigg is coming off a unanimous decision win over Makoto Takimoto at Sengoku. Vitale is coming off two wins at X-1 Events. Trigg must fight smart and stay clear from being caught in a submission by the crafty Vitale. Trigg will most likely stand and trade shots early in the rounds, but will need to take vitale down using his wrestling and strength. Trigg will have top control throughout most of the fight and ground and pound to a decision victory. Trigg (-260) / Vitale (+200)
Pete Spratt vs. Donnie Liles
Another UFC vet on the card Pete Spratt (18-4) will fight Donnie Liles (11-5). Spratt needs to stay away from Liles submission attempts, Liles has 9 submission victories of his 11 wins, while Spratt has been submitted 11 times of his 14 losses. Ground advantage definitely goes to Liles and the stand up to Spratt. Spratt must keep this fight in the center of the cage and look to land punches. Liles will look for the clinch and go for the takedown, even if its from his back and take Spratt’s arm. This is probably the hardest fight to call on the card and I’m leaning towards Spratt mainly on experience. As long as he fights smart and keeps the fight standing, with a unanimous decision win. Spratt (-115) / Liles (-115)
Billy Evangelista vs. Luke Caudillo
Billy Evangelista is undefeated in his MMA career at (7-0) taking on Luke “Lil Hilk” Caudillo (15-11). Caudillo is riding on a three fight losing skid. His confidence cant be very high fighting Evangelista. Lil Hulk does have pretty goods hands with 10 T/KO under his belt. Billy is a good wrestler with a jiu jitsu background. Evangelista should be able to control this fight on his feet or the ground, dishing out solid strikes and eventually landing a KO punch late in the second round. Evangelista (-500) / Caudillo (+300)
