UFC 77 odds are out at most online sportsbooks. As I said before, my internet connection was all messed up, but it’s back in working order now, so I’ll be posting much more frequently. UFC 77 has a few very interesting fights, and it’s going to be tough to gauge public opinion for this event, due to the amount of underdogs that triumphed at UFC 76.

Brandon Vera vs. Tim Sylvia odds

My initial thoughts on the main bouts
- The Anderson Silva and Rich Franklin fight presents an interesting situation. Silva is obviously the better fighter of the two, but with Franklin fighting in his hometown, you can’t underestimate the effect this will have on Rich. However, I also think Rich might become a betting favorite for this reason, and I never like to side with an underdog who’s getting a lot of public attention.
- Tito and Rashad are battling each other for the second time in a few months. Last time Tito had the fight in his grasp, but just couldn’t shut the door. I really think Rashad has the advantage this time around, due to the fact that he knows that he was not as good as Tito the last time around. Rashad knows that his training must be tougher than last time if he wants to beat Tito at UFC 77. I think he’ll step up in this spot.
- The Vera and Sylvia fight is a toss up for me. I think Vera will win, but I’m not gonna lay money on him at -180. I don’t think he deserves to be that much of a favorite over Sylvia.
I’ll update this page with odds from the other online sportsbooks when they are posted. BetUS seems to not have their odds up at the moment.
